The Estimator will assist in the preparation of cost estimates, scope development, subcontractor outreach, and proposal evaluations for multifamily construction projects, with a concentration in affordable housing. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with construction management software, particularly Procore.
Key Responsibilities:
€¢ Assist in developing detailed scopes of work based on design documents and project specifications.
€¢ Coordinate and perform subcontractor outreach for pricing, ensuring broad and inclusive bid coverage.
€¢ Review and evaluate subcontractor proposals for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with project scope.
€¢ Maintain and update project data in Procore, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for all stakeholders.
€¢ Support senior estimators in quantity take-offs, bid leveling, and the preparation of final bids.
€¢ Attend pre-bid meetings and assist in bid out coordination.
€¢ Track and manage RFI responses and addenda during the bidding process.
€¢ Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to clarify project requirements.
Qualifications:
€¢ 0-2 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in multifamily or affordable housing.
€¢ Diploma Civil or Btech Civil
